Have you taken time to love on yourself today? In this hectic world we live in taking time for ourselves is so often put on the back burner. With kids, husbands/wives, family and work, neglecting ourselves is so easy. Make sure you take the time for yourself, because if you don’t you wont be able to give to your full potential. As a mom of four kids, I have to constantly remind myself that my time is important. When I become irritable, overwhelmed or just plain tired, that lets me know to recharge my battery. Some easy ways to recharge can be:
Listening to my favorite music
Walking in Nature
Taking a long hot bath with my favorite essential oils
Taking myself out on a date (to a new movie or dinner)
Reading a favorite book
Writing in my journal
Find some ways to remind yourself that you matter. To be a true light that shines you must recharge yourself from time to time.
