We wake up, we wash up, we continue our daily routine without much fanfare. We go to our jobs, we come home, we cook dinner, we manage our homes, we go to sleep and do it all over again. Is this really living…have you really stopped to remember the dreams that you had for your life..have you stopped to smell the flowers or to gaze at the stars and the beautiful moon. Don’t forget that living is so much more than a daily job and bi-weekly paycheck. Its more than bills and drama. Life is to be lived, moment to moment. Breath to Breath, Heartbeat to Heartbeat. Take time to enjoy the little things in life to make your life really meaningful. Make memories, laugh, smile, perform random acts of kindness !! When in Rome we do as the Romans do (Bills, money, etc) but don’t let the wordly things take you away from the true Soul Spirit that you are.

As a Life Coach we really get to see the world from another side of life. We as people, all have our issues and our scars. We all have doubts and fears. If we looked at every single person with this knowledge, then we would see the world so differently. We would be patient with the people who give us a hard time and be so grateful for the people who appreciate us. Life is a gift. Even with all the hard things we have to endure, there is still the Yin the Yang, the good and the bad. In the end we all have these issues but we also have hopes and dreams, we get to laugh and play, we get to breathe and taste, we get to smile and love. Don’t let the hurts of the past cloud the true vision of beauty that this life has to offer you. Grow stronger with each issue/lesson and value the beauty that life shows you every day.

Have you taken time to love on yourself today? In this hectic world we live in taking time for ourselves is so often put on the back burner. With kids, husbands/wives, family and work, neglecting ourselves is so easy. Make sure you take the time for yourself, because if you don’t you wont be able to give to your full potential. As a mom of four kids, I have to constantly remind myself that my time is important. When I become irritable, overwhelmed or just plain tired, that lets me know to recharge my battery. Some easy ways to recharge can be:
Listening to my favorite music
Walking in Nature
Taking a long hot bath with my favorite essential oils
Taking myself out on a date (to a new movie or dinner)
Reading a favorite book
Writing in my journal
Find some ways to remind yourself that you matter. To be a true light that shines you must recharge yourself from time to time.
