OOOO DIY White Strawberry Sangria !!!!!


I love a great, sweet wine and this recipe for strawberry sangria peaked my interest. Its beautiful and the strawberries are in the glass to eat like a special treat just soaking up the white wine. Try this easy recipe for a beautiful glass of sweetness !!

1 750 Mililiter bottle of dry white wine, such as Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)

1/2 cup Strawberry Schnapps

1/4 cup sugar

2 cups fresh sliced strawberries

Ice cubes

Whole strawberries (optional)

In a 2 quart pitcher stir together wine, strawberry schnapps, and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Add sliced strawberries. Cover and chill for 1 to 4 hours. Serve in a glass over ice. If desired, garnish with whole strawberries. Makes 5 servings.


You can also try Peach Sangria by replacing the strawberries with peaches and the schnapps with Peach Schapps

Try pineapple, citrus, or mango as other alternatives. YUMMM !!!
